§ 15-12. Prosecution in magistrate's courts.

  • The city, pursuant to the authority of South Carolina Code of Laws 1976, sections 14-25-5 through 14-25-205, may prosecute a portion of its cases in the magistrate's courts of the county upon approval by the county council. Such courts are hereby vested with the authority to try and determine all cases arising under municipal ordinance or state law, within the jurisdiction of municipal or magistrate's courts.
