§ 20-84. Unlicensed damage or destruction of trees.

It shall be unlawful for any person to fell, cut down, damage, destroy, prune, undermine, burn or otherwise damage or destroy any tree or root system of a tree whose trunk is in whole or part situated on public property, publicly owned easement, right-of-way, or park without prior approval of the director of utilities for the city.
