§ 20-7.7. Fees.

  • The fees for use of encroachment space shall be determined according to the area category in which the space falls and are contained in the City Clerk's Official Record of Utility Rates, Deposits and Miscellaneous Fees and Charges of the City of Georgetown.

    The city may refund a prorated portion of the fees paid if the licensee requests cancellation of the encroachment permit in writing to the city no later than six (6) months after permit issuance. Permits are renewable on the first day of January of each year. Any permits issued after that date will be valid until the first day of January of the following year, and the fee charged shall be prorated for such permits.

Editor's note

An ordinance adopted August 18, 2011, in effect, repealed the former § 20-7.7, and enacted a new § 20-7.7 as set out herein. The former § 20-7.7 pertained to street and sidewalk vendors and derived from ordinances adopted November 19, 1992; September 15, 1994 and April 21, 2005.
